According to the brief we needed to create an identity for a restaurant or a bar we wish exists in real life. I decided to design an identity for a café with sophisticated desserts. However, this is not just a café, but the café where you can (and need!) to go alone and cherish yourself with sweets, avoiding side glances from different types of tactless people. The concept was inspired with quite a widely spread discrimination of lonely people and also by Korean social phenomenon honbap, which actually implies eating alone. So all in all, here is your perfect place, dear loners!
Interior of the café is intended to be welcoming, yet individualistic. Each table is separated in two parts with glass, so that people are going to feel comfortable all by themselves. Soft warm lights and cozy chairs can let visitors stay as long as they want and truly enjoy their time.
